In a bizarre crossover event that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned practices and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden group.

The questline centers on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
